The first women's competition, the Junior Inter-club team match, was won by the Fencers Club trio consisting of the Misses Buxton, Alessandroni and Maley. They defeated the representatives of the Salle d'Armes Vince in the final round.

Miss Lloyd was the victor in the open individual competition held on December 4th. She defeated her old rival, Miss Locke, in the final match of the evening. Miss Guggolz was third. All three girls are from the Salle d'Armes Vince.

Just to keep the honors evenly distributed, Miss Barbara Cochrane, of the Salle Santelli, came through in fine style to win the Manrique Novice competition. Miss Mildred Stewart, of the Salle d'Armes Vince, was second, and Miss Carol King of the Salle Santelli was third.
