On March 7th, the Columbia Rapier Club is holding a gala night—exhibitions, specialties, and a dance—at the John Jay Hall, 114th St. and Amsterdam Ave. The affair is being held in honor of the visiting Navy team, which fences Columbia in the afternoon. Fencers from West Point, Yale, Princeton, and Harvard will be present to give the event a distinctly intercollegiate touch. Prominent amateurs and professionals will perform.

Japanese fencing, balloon, and mass plume fights will add to the enjoyment of the evening. The admission is $1.50 a couple, and half the proceeds will go to the Olympic Fund. The dancing is from 10 to 2 A.M., but be there at 9:15 to see the fencing.
