GOLD CAPTURES EPEE TITLE
Ted Gold (N.Y.U.) won the Jr. Epee at the Fencers Club after coming through a strong field to tie with Paul Branner of Hamilton. Having bowed to Branner 3-6 in their first encounter, Gold turned the tables in the fence-off to win the championship by the same score. Robert Driscoll (Fencers Club) placed third on touches after tying with Ernest May and W. Cornett, also members of the Fencers Club.
