MINNESOTA DIVISION
Mr. Earle Goodrich Lee, the State Fencing Director and instructor at the St. Paul A.C., tells us of the growing interest in fencing out there. The State is slowly organizing a powerful division out there, and informal get-togethers are being used to bring as large a group as possible into the fencing rooms so that they may get acquainted and exchange views. The rule of such evenings is: "Fence, if possible, with a stranger, and never mind the scores." The Minnesota League of Fencing Clubs has recently been re-organized, and at present consists of six clubs: The Turn Verein of St. Paul, the St. Paul A.C., the St. Paul Y.M.C.A., the Exeter Club, the Swordsmen's Club of the State University, and the Johnson High School Club. The League will conduct a state tournament in the latter part of April. It is expected that the Fencing Club at Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota, will soon apply for membership to the League.
