The annual Cleveland Plaque Tournament held at the Cleveland Club on Memorial Day was won by the Michigan team composed of S. Karch, foil, M. Glass, epee, and H. Haydenman, sabre. Cleveland placed second in the team event. The individual pools were won by S. Karch, foil, S. Vernon of Buffalo, epee, and H. Hayden, sabre. Glass, of the Michigan team, came second in the epee.

There were only two teams competing for the Women's Plaque. The Buffalo team composed of Miss Block, Miss Jones, and Miss Catelli defeated the Cleveland aggregation and took the plaque to Buffalo.

The Cleveland Plaque is beginning to have an interesting history. Four years ago, when it was first made, it was named the Calnan trophy. Later, when the trophy for the National Three-Weapon Title was named after Calnan, the Cleveland match became a tournament for the Cleveland Plaque. They have also made one for the women. Michigan has won the tournament three out of four times.
