WOMEN'S NATIONAL OUTDOORS
Miss Muriel Guggolz, of the New York Fencers Club, made a clean sweep of the six-girl round-robin to win the women's Outdoor title. Mrs. Dolly Funke, of the Greco Fencing Academy, was second with four victories and Miss Dorothy Hafner, of the Waverly Fencers Club, came third with three wins. Miss Barbara Cochrane, of the Salle Santelli, Miss Daphne Kouyouzos, of the Saltus Club, and Miss Katherine Watkins of the Greco Academy completed the round robin and placed in that order.
The tournament was held on the lawn of Miss Dorothy Hafner’s home in Flushing.
