President Van Buskirk has selected the largest Bout Committee the League has had in a great many years. All the members have been given a definite job in an effort to assure a well-run season of events. Miguel A. de Capriles, who was Chairman of the Bout Committee last year, has declined the position because of the pressure of business. Mr. George Cochrane is the only member who was re-appointed this year, the other members being Jose de Capriles, John R. Huffman, Warren Dow, Hugh Alessandroni, Irving S. Ashworth, Julio A. Cerra, and Walter B. White.

Besides having a Chairman, the committee is to have a sub-chairman for each of the three weapons. This is calculated to distribute the burden and produce more efficient results.
