THE GRECO ACADEMY MOVES TO NEW SALLE
If you happen to be mid-town and want to give yourself a real treat, drop up to the penthouse of the Bidel building at 19 West 34th Street. This is the new headquarters for the Greco Fencing Academy and we can truthfully say that there is no Salle in the city to compare with it.
The fencing room is an unobstructed floor, 64 by 23 feet. Around it on all sides are 18 windows. There is no tall adjoining building to cut off any light. The flooring is an attractive green mat of cork linoleum. A reception room, a workshop, and two dressing rooms of fair proportions complete the layout. All told, there are 31 windows in the place. In the summertime, two roofs are available leading out from the fencing room. Three large strips can be comfortably run on each of these house-tops.
Do you think we are over-enthusiastic? Go down and convince yourself.
