JOSE DE CAPRILES TAKES SENIOR FOIL
Jose de Capriles repeated his last season’s victory in the senior foil meet and made it two in a row this season by winning another three-way tie to take the gold medal in the meet held at the Greco Fencing Academy.
John R. Huffman placed second, and Warren A. Dow was third.
Darnell Every, of the New York A.C., earned fourth place by defeating both J. de Capriles and Dow as well as Nick Muray. His defeat of the first two forced the triple tie.
Alessandroni was not up to par and could do no better than fifth.
