The Philadelphia Sword Club has taken a new Salle d’Armes at 204 South Quince Street where the fencing hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 each Tuesday and Friday evening. The newly engaged Master, Mr. Valentin Argento, will be the coach at such times. “We will be very happy to receive visitors.”

Here is some good news for the photography enthusiasts! This season you are invited to enter a contest for the best fencing photograph. The picture must have been taken at a competition held during the coming season. Posed pictures will not be accepted—they must be action shots. At the end of the season, after the Outdoor Sabre, the judges will select the best picture and award it a suitable prize. All pictures must have the date, name of the competition, and place where it was taken, as well as the name of the photographer. Keep this in mind—it should be loads of fun.
