The Rhode Island Division of the A.F.L.A. has issued a Schedule containing 17 competitions for the current season. Copies may be obtained by writing Mr. Almon T. White, 74 Mawney Street, Providence, R.I. Competitions are provided for both boys and girls from Novice Class up through Senior Class. One Interscholastic Tournament is also included. An unusual feature of the schedule is the fact that five Novice competitions are provided at entry fees of only 10¢. This is possible through the awarding of certificates instead of medals and is an excellent idea wherever it is felt that larger entry fees will prove a deterrent to the younger competitors.
