Professor Ansot and Eugene Dolet have Sword Exercise on the Green.

Yesterday morning a private “duel” on the greenest spot in Golden Gate Park took palce between Profesor H. Ansot and Eugene Dolet.

Only a few friends witnessed the contest. Both swordsmen showed great proficiency with the steels and after a short passage at arms the professor drew a speck of the crimson from the breast of Dolet. The latter held his own fairly well with the experienced foilsman, but the professor was too quick for Dolet and the referee awarded him the contest. Neither man suffered any “serious” injury.
